Love Is Blind Season 9 star Joe Ferrucci briefly dated Kacie McIntosh after breaking up with his ex — but the emphasis should be on “briefly.” “So when Joe and I started talking — I think it was our first date — we were at a bar and he kind of ran into this girl and said, ‘You know I’ve been on a few dates with this girl,'” Joe’s girlfriend of over a year, Averee, explained in an interview with the “Reality Receipts Podcast,” released Sunday, Oct. 19? and I look and of course it’s Kacie. And I was like, ‘Oh, okay.'” Averee added that she “didn’t know much about her at that point” and that Joe was “completely transparent” about the dynamic he and Kacie briefly shared. Averee also revealed that she’s not a fan — or friend — of Kacia. “I think she burned a lot of bridges in our group of friends,” she said. “Obviously, from what we see on TV, it translates into real life. At least for other people, I can say that who they are on TV and who they are in real life are not the same… but for her, it fully translates into real life.” Averee added, “I think personally, I choose to surround myself with women who uplift each other and follow the girl code,” but insisted that “it’s never going to be Kacie.” “That’s not what I want in the room with me, and I guess all I’m going to say is that when Joe got a girlfriend, it didn’t stop her from constantly trying,” Averee also said. She insisted there was “no overlap” between her and Kacie, “but it was just one of those (things) that I think she just wanted to know that she could have him or, like, shut him up.” Averee also said that Kacie would text Joe “every few weekends” to see what he was doing or where he was. It happened “the whole time (she) was trying to be friends with me. We met at a great party last year, she’s like, ‘I just love you, I think you’re so cute, I think you and Joe are great, like, it’s not hard for you,’ and then she keeps trying to hook up with my man, while she knows he’s my man.” Joe Ferrucci and Madison Maidenberg. Courtesy of Netflix Joe opened up about another relationship from the show this month. Speaking exclusively to Us Weekly in an interview published Wednesday, Oct. 15, Joe revealed that his breakup with ex-fiancée Madison Maidenberg was a little different than the one depicted on the hit Netflix series.謝謝!您已成功訂閱。 “My bond with Madison in the pods was great. There were a lot of butterflies. It was a very deep bond. We had a lot of laughs,” Joe said. “When you go into (the pods), there’s a little hesitation, and then the further you go, you get into it and it’s a pressure cooker situation. The conversations you have there are very deep and beyond what would be in a normal timeline-only relationship. The more it went, I could see it going.” Joe also addressed Madison’s claim that she developed an eating disorder after he made comments about her body. “I saw it,” Joe admitted. “Obviously, it’s a terrible feeling on my part if it’s something that’s affected her long-term or for a while afterward.” It was a surprising comment. Madison has always been very confident about her body, but you never know how someone really feels inside. I didn’t want to impress her like that. It’s not good to hear that.’ Related: Love Is Blind’s Joe Breaks Silence on Drunken Rant About Costar Nick Love Is Blind Season 9 star Joe Ferrucci cringes with the audience while watching the Netflix show. “I’ve cooled down on my drinking enough that I’m not making a fool of myself every week,” Joe told Us Weekly in an exclusive interview on Friday the 10th. October. In the first season (…) things between the two eventually turned sour. “Madison seemed to be in everything and anything you could want in a person. On the other hand, I had certain concerns, nervous, scared, anxious. I never saw that coming from Madison,” Joe told us. “I think it freaked me out, too, when I saw it, and I know she wanted to continue the experiment, go through it, get the most out of it, in a, ‘Is this my person?’ More time to explore. I think there was a turning point for me where I couldn’t continue any further.”
